MM..FOOD 2004
I know that Madvillainy is his most celebrated, and I get it because it really is just so singular in its creativity and flow, but this is my favorite MF DOOM record. The middle section of interludes, "Poo-Putt Platter" to "Fig Leaf Bi-Carbonate," does drag a bit on every relisten, which is really the only thing bringing this score down (and even once we get back to the actual songs, "Kon Karne" is one of the less memorable ones), but outside of that this album is perfect. Chock full of all the incredible humor, flows, and production you could expect from the legend. Medium 9/10
